I did follow Miley on Twitter and i must say she probably tweeted the most out of all the people i was following (apart from Heidi Montag... but no-one cares about her).
Rumour has it that she deleted it for her boyfriend Liam Hensworth, which has not been confirmed, but her last tweet was 'FYI Liam doesn't have twittr & he wants ME 2 delete mine w/ gd reason.'
Her mother @MommyTish also deleted her account.
If you really really want Miley to come back to twitter then log onto your twitter account at twitter.com and tweet #mileycomeback (although she might not take notice).
On the bright side... her sister Brandi and brother Trace still have twitter! =]
